Dear Members:

Here at last is the poster for our 2021 Conference, “Tra liti sì lontani: Dante for the Americas”, to be held in conjunction with Harvard University, but fully remote.  Many thanks to the deft navigation of the organizing committee, including Carol Chiodo, Ambrogio Camozzi Pistoja, Peter Hawkins, and Christian Dupont. The conversion to digital means the conference offers different kinds of events spread over a few days between May 5-13.  See the attached poster and link for details on how to register and how to get access to the keynotes, fireside chats, and panels. The conference is open to the public.

As announced previously, the Annual Meeting of the Society for its members will take place separately, on Sunday, May 16, from 1:00-2:00pm EDT.  Zoom link to follow closer to the date.

In the meantime, I hope to see you all at our kick-off and keynote by Argentine-Canadian writer, Alberto Manguel, former Director of the National Library of Argentina, and fellow member of the Dante Society of America, on cinco de mayo at 2pm Eastern time.
